The Prominent ABC Trek
The Annapurna 10th Highest Mountain in the world was first climb by French expedition team lead by Maurice Herzog in June 1950. The trek to Annapurna base camp is by far the most proposed trek in Nepal. The Annapurna sanctuary is an ecliptic of Mountain peaks. Situated at an altitude of 4130m, it has a 360 degree view of 13 peaks with Annapurna 1 dominating other peaks.
On our way to Jhinu dada, we can plunge to the Hot spring on Modi Khola. We ascend through villages and terraced farmland to the alpine environments found at the higher elevations around base camp. This is a stunning trek in the heart of the Annapurna range.

Arrive in Kathmandu.
Welcome at Airport and transfer to the hotel.

Kathmandu – Bandipur (1100m)
Today we take the road to Bandipur, we leave the valley via Thankot, and during autumn we have a nice view of Langang, Annapurna and Manaslu. The road goes through mountains and valleys along the Trisuli River. At Dumre, we change the road and climp up to Bandipur. Bandipur is famous for Newari people and their cultures. Because of its preserved, old time cultural atmosphere, Bandipur has increasingly been coming to the attention of tourism.

Bandipur – Ramkot – Chikrani (500m)
Our day start with a hike From Bandipur to Chikrani, on our hike we walk through Ramkot a beautiful Magar village. We hike down to Chikrani. After we are transfer to Kanda (1750m). Our trail then winds uphill through terraced fields and mixed oak and rhododendron forest. Australia Camp is located on a grassy ridge. The view of Annapurna South and Machapuchare is Amazing.

Australian camp – Landruk (1565m)
From Australian camp we can see a glorious sunrise on Annapurna range. We start trek, the first village is Pothana. As we follow the path, we came to Deurali. Walking through the temperate forest we arrive at Tolka. Landruk is a Gurung settlement at the foot hill of Annapurna South.

Landruk – Jhinu dada –Chomrong (2170m)
Far on the other side is Ghandruk village. We continue the descent and reach the Modi River which we cross by a small suspension bridge. After a steep climb and crossing the new bridge we are at Jhinu Danda (1780 m). Jhinu Danda is a place conducive to relaxation, thanks to its hot springs, very popular with trekkers. From here we have a steep climb of stone staircase to Chomrong village.

Chomrong – Sinawa- Bamboo-(2300m)
Here, the trail descends via a stone staircase, eventually crossing the Chhomrong Khola. We climb high above the Modi Khola through the stone staircase, traverse Banuwa village and reach Sinawa village. The path goes through the west bank of Modi Khola, and pass through forests of bamboo, Rhododendron and oak. We arrive at Bamboo

Bamboo – Deurali (3200m)
Today's destination is Deurali, the trail ascend gradually and passes through Rhododendron forest. The path is undulating with well defined paths, including a significant amount of stone steps. We climb steeply on zig- zagging stone paths to eventually reach Hinku cave, an impressive limestone Caves. From now we can see Deurali. Around 3000 m, the vegetation begins to give way to the mineral universe of the high altitude... We arrive this evening at Deurali (3200 m).

Deurali – Annapurna Base camp (4130m)
Today, we enter the Annapurna Sanctuary. We leave early in the morning and climb gradually to Machhapuchhre base camp through moraine. Machapuchare Base Camp, a grassy moraine platform within a huge amphitheater enclosed by a solid wall of snow-capped peaks which include Annapurna I, Annapurna III and Machapuchare. After lunch, the trail ascends to the Annapurna Base camp. We are in an immense glacial cirque, surrounded by the Annapurna I (8091 m), the Barha Chuli (7647 m) to the east, and the north face of Annapurna south (7219 m).

Bamboo – Chomrong (2170m)
We ascend to Kuldighar through bamboo and rhododendrons forests .we continues the walk through beautiful rhododendron forests and down to Sinuwa. From Sinuwa, the trail leads downhill to the Modi Khola, after crossing the river we have a steep climb to Chhomrung.

Chomrong –Ghandruk (1900m)
From Chomrong, we take the direction of Ghandruk. We must first cross the Kimrong valley and reach the hill of Kot Danda, before ending the day on the balcony path that leads to Ghandruk. We visit the village, certainly the most beautiful in the region, with beautiful dry stone houses. The village has a Museum and Monastery too.

Ghandruk –Nayapul –Pokhara (850m)
Trek downhill through villages and terraced fields to Syauli Bazaar, then onto Nayapul before being transported back to Pokhara.
