One of the best known treks in Nepal, Annapurna circuit trek takes you to the most beautiful landscape of Nepal. The circuit starts from the low land to the one of the highest pass Throng-la pass. Monasteries, Mani wall, prayer wheel, chorten and the Snowcave Mountains. We walk through the traditional village of Nwagal, visitng the monastery of Braga. lupra village of Muktinath where the Bon religion is still practice.

Arrive in Kathmandu:
Welcome at airport and transfer to Hotel

Day 2: Kathmandu – Beshishar- Jagat(1310)
Early morning departure to beshishar, transfer to Jagat by jeep.
While driving we can see the beautiful country side of Nepal. If are lucky, we might see the Himalayan massifs: Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Annapurnas.

Jagat – Dharapani (1960m)
The first of our trek, we walk through the beauty village, pine and oak forest. We arrive at Tal, we are in manang. We are welcome by the mani wall and chorten of the village. We are in the Buddhist village. The villagers have well preserved their temples and monastery. The village of Dharapani lies on the confluence of Marsangdi knola and Larkya River.

Dharapani –Danaque-Koto –Chame (2670m)
From Dharapani village we follow the Marsangdi River and arrive at Bhargarchap, the prayer flags and stone carved with mantras welcome us. After a steep climb, and walking through the rhododendron forest we arrive at Timang village. The next settlement is Koto, the entre point to Nar and Phu Tibetan village. Chame is the capital and centre of administration of Manang.

Chame- Upper pisang (3300m)
We walk through the forest dominated by the impressive cliffs. The cliffs are more than 3500m. The lamjung (6983) and Annapurna 2 are on our left as we walk through the pine and coniferous forest. We arrive at Dhikur pokhara. The best place to have a lunch with the massif Annapurna 2 in front of us. The valley of manang opens up. We follow the trail to Upper Pisang, spectacular view of Annapurna range and Manang valley.

Upper Pisang –Ngawal (3660m)
We walking the trail which passes through the village, the view of Annapurna 2, 4, 3 Gangapurna and kangsar kang is superb. After a steep climb, we arrive to the Ghyaru village. The view point of Manang valley. We admire all the mountain range and Manang valley. The Ghyaru and Ngawal are the two Tibetan villages in this region. In the mean time we visit the village Monastery

Ngawal – Braga- Manang (3500m)
We descend down to the Manang valley, walking through the pine forest. We arrive at Braga village. It’s a typical village of Manang. We visit its beautiful monastery which dates back to 12 century. We follow the trail and arrive at Manang.

Manang – Yak Kharka (4050m)
After Manang, we had short day of walking to Yak kharka. As we gain altitude, we need to be careful. And get acclimatized with altitude. From Now, the trail turns north. We follow the pasture land of Yak Kharka. A small hamlet, along the barrier of Chulu peak to the east. The place used to be the summer camp for the Yak herder.

Yak Khakra –Thorang Phedi (4500m)
Today too, we had a short hiking day. Walking slowly and drinking sufficient amount of water is out moto for the day. The path crosses pastureland of yaks, alternating ascents and descents. On our way we might see the wild animals. We are surrounded by snow Cave Mountain on the horizon. We progress slowly to the foot of the throng la. We are at throng Phedi.

10 Thorang Phedi – High Camp – Thorang- la – Muktinath (3800m)
We start early, as there is a steep climb a head up to High camp. After High camp, the trail ascends gradually. Everybody take their time to climb. As we are not in rush nor there is any competition. The Thorang la pass (5416m) is dominated by the Khatung kang and yakawa kang. On the other side is Mustang. The region is dominated by Dhaulagiri and Niligiri Himal. This is the rain shaded region of Nepal. We admire the dry landscape and the Kaligandaki River. After a long descend we came to Muktinath. Hinduistes, Buddhists comes to visit the Muktinath sactuary.

11 Muktinath –lupra –Jomsom (2750m)
As we leave the Muktinath village. We follow the trial which passes through a pass to Lupra village. Lupra village where Bon Religion still exist in Mustang. The Bon used to be the ancient region of Tibet. The village has still managed to keep its charm despite the development projects. We follow the windy route of Muktinath to arrive the Jomsom.
